Pre-Cleaning Checklist

Preparing for Your Deep Cleaning

Our deep cleaning appointments are intended to tackle accumulated dust, dirt, soap scum, grease, and other buildup. To provide the best possible results, we ask that personal belongings be picked up and surfaces be cleared before we arrive. This allows our team to spend the scheduled time performing detailed cleaning rather than organizing clutter.

If our cleaners must organize or move a significant number of personal belongings before they can begin cleaning, additional time and charges may be required, or certain areas may need to be skipped to stay within the scheduled appointment.

General

  • Please pick up and put away loose items throughout the home so all surfaces can be thoroughly deep cleaned.

  • Clear floors, walkways, under furniture (where accessible), and work areas so our team can focus on removing buildup rather than organizing belongings.

  • Secure children and pets away from cleaning areas and equipment.

  • If excessive clutter limits access to an area, we may be unable to deep clean that space during your appointment.

  • Our deep cleaning service is designed to remove heavy buildup, dust, and grime—not provide organization services.

  • Electricity and running water must be available throughout the appointment.

Kitchen

  • Completely clear countertops of dishes, food, mail, appliances, and personal items whenever possible.

  • Empty the sink and unload the dishwasher before our arrival. (If dirty dishes remain, we can reload the dishwasher after cleaning the sink.)

  • Remove items from the tops of the refrigerator and other accessible surfaces you'd like cleaned.

  • Store away fragile or valuable items before your appointment.

Bathrooms

  • Remove all personal items from countertops, tubs, shower shelves, and toilet tops.

  • Pick up towels, bath mats, clothing, and other loose items from the floor.

  • Flush all toilets before our arrival.

  • Please ensure bodily fluids, vomit, or other biohazards have been cleaned prior to service.

Bedrooms

  • Pick up clothing, shoes, toys, and personal belongings from floors.

  • Clear dressers, nightstands, desks, and other furniture surfaces to allow for detailed dusting and sanitizing.

  • Please secure fragile or valuable décor before our arrival.

Living Areas

  • Remove toys, blankets, pet items, electronics, paperwork, and decorative clutter from floors and furniture.

  • Clear coffee tables, end tables, shelves, and entertainment centers that you'd like deep cleaned.

  • Please secure fragile or valuable décor before our arrival.

Optional Add-On Areas (If Included)

  • Inside Cabinets & Drawers: Please empty cabinets or drawers scheduled for interior cleaning.

  • Inside Refrigerator: Remove food and beverages before service.

  • Inside Oven: Ensure the oven is cool and remove cookware before our arrival.

  • Closets: Please remove items from the floor if closet floors are included.
